Maple Country Chapter NWTF
Geauga County, Ohio
Welcome to the Maple Country Chapter NWTF web site. We have established this website to better serve our members. It will help to inform you of our upcoming events, programs and important dates, as well as photos of events and our members. We hope that this site will assist in our communication with all members as we strive to develop the chapter to meet the expectations of our constituents. Please feel free to contact us with any comments on this page or events.
We would also like to thank all those, past and present, who have helped in the development of this chapter. It is only through the hard work of its volunteers that the chapter and its events are possible. Anyone interested in becoming a more active part of this growing chapter should contact us at any of the contacts listed. As the chapter evolves to become more focused in the local community, we need a strong volunteer base to better fulfill our goals. Our main mission is to offer interactive programs to the youth in the area. With the continued support of our members we will continue to grow and improve these activities to provide education, safety training and all around good woodsman ship practices.
Thank you for your continued support and we look forward to seeing you at our next event.

This year the chapter recieve the Most Improved Banquet in the East Award, along with the Highest Net in the East Award. Our banquet also generated the most money to the state super fund out of all banquets in the state. Over $16,000 contributed from our chapter will be available for habitat improvement and hunter outreach programs for the state of Ohio. In total the state NWTF chapters have generated over $147,000 for wildlife in 2012.
This year the Chapter donated 18 turkeys to Geauga County familys in need during the Christmas Season. Thanks to WalMart in Chardon for providing a discount to make our dollars worth a little more.
Special thanks to those who made this years Banquet a huge success. It is not possible with out the donations from our sponsors and the hard work of the committee members. Please visit our sponsors page and support the businesses that support us.
